This wooden panda baby toy loves to play peek-a-boo! Hear the click and clack as its paws flap up to cover the cheerful face, then push them down again to say, “Hello!” Even babies can bring about a big visual change with just a simple motion, so they’re encouraged to keep exploring as fine motor skills grow naturally. Made with select hardwood and child-safe dyes.

Extension Activities From Melissa & Doug: More Ways to Play and Learn:
- Talk to your child about what you see. Describe the colors, shapes and features of the panda’s face, pointing to each feature as you say its name. Pause between sentences so the child can “answer” with babbles or gestures. Toddlers may be able to point to the features after you demonstrate.
- Flip the paws up to hide the panda’s eyes. (“Where is Panda?”) Flip the paws down and say, “Peek-a-boo!”
- Listen to the click of the paws as they snap closed. Ask the child to close the paws and pat the panda, exploring the sounds he/she can make.
